Five NFL players and coaches have been recognized for extraordinary commitments to their communities with induction into the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame.  The Hall has recognized the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions for their exceptional community programs through its annual Pro Team Community Award and 10 Heisman Trophy winners, who were drafted by or played for NFL teams, with its Tradition of Excellence Award.
