Presented to a Heisman Trophy winner who has distinguished himself in his chosen career and brought honor and distinction to the Heisman Award program. Tradition of Excellence Award winners are nominated annually by the Heisman Foundation and honored by the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame.  The 2005 recipient was 1996 Heisman winner Danny Wuerffel of the University of Florida.
