The world-famous Harlem Globetrotters are one of the most recognizable and loveable teams in all of sport. Mixing sports and entertainment through basketball and comedy, the team has played during their 82-year history, in over 20,000 exhibition games (losing just 345) in 118 countries, on six continents, before more than 125 million fans.
The team is heavily involved in charitable efforts, often donating proceeds from games to various causes in the communities in which they play. In 1999, the team formed the Harlem Globetrotters International Foundation, an organization which serves as an international advocate for issues of health and education.
