An artist's rendering of the planned 50,000 sq. ft. World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame Complex proposed for the entrance to Boise State's Bronco Stadium. The complex design was approved May 9, 2006 by the Hall's Board of Directors and is awaiting final approval from Boise State University.  (note:  rendering is not drawn to scale)

Located on the campus of Boise State University, the Hall of Fame celebrates all that is good in sport and honors those special athletes who go beyond the game.  Inductees including such world-class athletes as Arthur Ashe, Rafer Johnson, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Roberto Clemente, Julius Erving, Dale Murphy, Bonnie Blair, Kip Keino, Pat McCormick, Mel Blount, Kevin Johnson, Billy Mills, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, David Robinson, Tony Gwynn, Mary Lou Retton, Kirby Puckett and Nate "Tiny" Archibald have been enshrined in the Hall.

They're enshrined not only for their prowess on the field, court or track, but for their efforts in their communities. Whether it's providing a safe haven and scholarships for troubled youth, mentoring programs in the community or helping war victims, each of these athletes has used their athletic success to help others.

A visit to the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame will inspire and entertain. The Hall's museum lists the accomplishments and displays memorabilia from the inductees. Through a special arrangement with the Heisman Trophy Trust of New York, the World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame honors a Heisman Trophy winner each year with the Tradition of Excellence Award for his outstanding accomplishments off the gridiron.
